Glory is AN ASPIRING DESIGNER AND ENTREPRENEUR, STUDYING ECONOMICS AT BROWN UNIVERSITY AND fashion AT RHODE ISLAND SCHOOL OF DESIGN.

The five-year Brown|RISD Dual Degree Program draws on the complementary strengths of the two institutions and has provided Glory a space to synthesize her academic and artistic interests. Enriched by this interdisciplinary education, she has honed her ability to think critically and act decisively based on both strong economic intuition and thorough understanding of design principles.

In Summer 2020, Glory was selected as a GUCCI Changemakers Scholar of the inaugural cohort. From the program, she learned practical knowledge about the complex structure and operational systems of top-tier companies like GUCCI. This invaluable experience confirmed her passion in business strategy and marketing of the fashion industry. Ever since, she has pursued various professional internships to expand her skill set in the subject. In Summer 2021, she worked as the Business Transformation Intern at TAPESTRY INC.–a global house of iconic New York brands: COACH, KATE SPADE, and STUART WEITZMAN. In the following Fall 2022, she rejoined Tapestry and for the past 1.5 years, she has been actively supporting projects across Global Digital Experience & Marketing at Coach. Previously, she also worked as the Global Marketing Intern at the Altair Eyewear portfolio of VSP Global and the Strategy Intern at Senreve, a luxury handbag brand.

Outside of Brown|RISD and Tapestry, Glory has started her independent project Missing Button–a creative partnership with the university stores to upcycle unsold overstock into unique merchandise for sale. The project has successfully completed multiple rounds of partnerships with the Brown Bookstore and RISD:Store.

Glory is also active in Brown University’s Official & Student Theater as a Costume Designer and has designed for seven different shows. She plans to continue expressing her creativity and apply problem-solving skills in diverse platforms on and off campus.
